Join us in Nosara, Costa Rica for a powerful 7-day Thai Massage and Breathwork Training immersion, guided by Ashley Ludman of The Body of Breath and Mukti of The Vedic Conservatory. This retreat-style training blends Vedic Thai Yoga bodywork, breath-led somatic practices, and facilitator tools for hands-on integration and nervous system support.
Whether you’re deepening your path as a facilitator, or exploring this work for the first time, this experience is designed to meet you where you are — and help you return to your own rhythm.
You’ll learn and embody:

Vedic Thai Yoga techniques on the futon (Seated and Supine)

Therapeutic breathwork for repatterning and restoration

Physical assists and partner-based movement

Somatic sequencing for nervous system integration

How to both give and receive with presence and skill
This training complements the Breathwork Facilitator Training (July 5–12) or can be taken as a stand-alone immersion. All levels are welcome. An interview is required prior to registration.
Certification & Continuing Ed
Participants will receive certification hours through The Vedic Conservatory and The Body of Breath. A digital training manual is included.
This Thai Yoga Massage and Breathwork Retreat is open to all levels — whether you’re a seasoned facilitator or exploring embodiment practices for the first time. You’ll receive hands-on instruction in Vedic Thai bodywork, breath-based therapeutic movement, and somatic integration. Participants receive certification hours through The Vedic Conservatory and The Body of Breath.

Travel Logistics
Please note that there are 2 international airports in Costa Rica: Liberia (LIR) is a 2.5 hour ground shuttle, and San Jose (SJO) is a 5.5 hour ground shuttle. Also note that these travel times are estimates. Depending on weather, traffic and road construction, the travel time may be more than noted. There are regional flight options from both airports. Once you have secured your flights, please contact Ash to put your name on the list for incoming shuttle arrangements. The group shuttle is approximately $60 and the private ground shuttle is $160.
We encourage all participants to protect your training investment with trip insurance, as we are not able to offer refunds for the lodging or tuition. Within 30 days advanced notice, we are able to offer transfers to alternate programs if a scheduling conflict arises on your side.
